""He is probably identical with the Nicholas, son of Nicholas Snow of Hoxton, Middlesex, baptized 25 January, 1599, at St. Leonard's, Shoreditch, London, the parish adjoining St. Mary's, Whitechapel, w here Stephen Hopkins (whose daughter Constance became his wife), was married in 1618. It may be inferred that the emigration of the Hopkins family was the occasion of Nicholas Snow's following them t o Plymouth" in 1623 on the "Anne." According to "Directory of Ancestral Heads" by Holmes, he moved to Eastham in 1654."
